The Bill Greco 43 five-window modified was originally built in 1963 by Bill's brother, mechanic/machinist George, and has more than 100 feature wins along with 3 track championships to it's credit. Updated several times in the 15 years it raced, this car competed until the Sprinf of 1978. The 43 has seen 4 seperate chassis configurations, from the early four-springer to the Flemke-style front/trailer bar rear, then to the John Stygar built Chrysler torsion bar configuration in the early seventies. It currently sits on an original Sonny Seamon built torsion bar chassis similar to the Stygar chassis. The 43 has been powered by both small block Chevy V8's and a big block 454 and has won at tracks throughout the Northeast including Riverside Park Speedway, Stafford Speedway, Plainville Stadium, West Haven Speedway, Islip Speedway, Freeport Raceway, Albany-Saratoga Speedway, Monadnock Speedway, and of course, Eastern States. It has competed at many other tracks including the dirt tracks of NY, NJ, and PA in the All-Star League.   The 43 also won 4 Riverside 00's and started on the pole at the Thompson 500 iexacting standards as possiblen 1969. Newly restored to as  possible, with as many original  parts and details as were available.
